School Sports Assistant at School Sports Partnership

Vandyke Upper School is seeking a School Sports Assistant to join its National Award-winning School Sports Partnership team. The office is based within Vandyke Upper School.

Salary: £20,920 to £21,249 per annum for 37 hours per week during term-time, plus 37 hours outside term-time (full-time equivalent: £24,027 to £24,404). The position is offered on a fixed 1-year contract initially, with part-time consideration for the right candidate.

Hours: Full-time, with the possibility of part-time.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work across schools in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade, Woburn Sands, and surrounding villages to enhance Physical Education and School Sport opportunities for students aged 5-19 years.

Applicants should be highly motivated, organized, and passionate about sport. Previous experience working with young people is preferred. The role involves practical delivery and administrative work, requiring a driving license and transport.

The role also includes delivering and developing key partnership programs within our network of local schools.

We are looking for energetic individuals who inspire students through sport. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. All shortlisted candidates will undergo references, online checks, and an enhanced DBS check.
