We have a fabulous new role for a well-established client of ours who is looking for an Import Merchandiser.
Based in Leicester, you will be part of an established team and should have an understanding of critical path management, sea freight, and shipping. It\’s essential to be organized and possess excellent communication skills to keep customers updated on delivery dates and monitor shipments to ensure timely arrivals.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Updating customers on delivery dates and informing them of any changes
- Managing the critical path to ensure a smooth process from order placement to delivery
- Working to internal critical path deadlines and liaising daily with overseas factories
- Monitoring and managing deliveries to ensure shipments are on time and addressing potential delays
- Managing multiple shipments from around the world, consolidating shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery
Person Specifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literate
- Previous experience with suppliers required; knitwear knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail, accurate, and able to work quickly under pressure

The salary is competitive, with options including:
- Up to £0.00 per annum + additional benefits
- US$100,000 – US$115,000 per annum + salary in AUD & relocation package
