We’re currently recruiting for a JetVac LGV Driver to join our team in Bideford on a full-time basis, with a salary of £29,091 per annum.
About The Role
As the JetVac LGV Driver you will support the Sewage Pumping Stations Operational Teams in the day to day operation and maintenance of the Waste Water Pump Station assets within the area.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be supporting the SPS Operations teams in the first line maintenance of Sewage Pumping Stations (SPS) and associated assets to achieve the required performance and Company targets, e.g. Energy, Bathing Water Compliance, Pollution, Odour controls
- Completion of proactive SPS cleansing interventions using internal JetVac capability to minimise pollution from SPS and maintain a Pure Environment
- Ensure Health and Safety legal requirements are met and demonstrable improvement in Health and Safety culture, including regular review and updates to activity TSI, site risk assessments and related documentation
- Ensure all JetVac Operations are correctly and safely carried out and maintain safety of those around you
- Adherence to schedules, business rules and procedures; liaise with Field Support Centres (FSCs) and Maintenance team to ensure asset operations are achieved
- Ensure LGV JetVac unit is correctly maintained and in date for test on every deployment; escalate any issues to the Sewage Pumping Station Manager
- Have a clear understanding of the New Roads & Street Works Act to ensure safe working on the highway
- Follow company hygiene procedures and fill JetVac units in accordance with SWW procedures (with appropriate backflow prevention as required to comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999) from designated filling points only
- If required, provide support to the WWS Planned Maintenance Team LGV HIAB Operation / wider operational business during Event / Incident scenarios (additional training provided as necessary)
- Compliance with Quality Management Systems and other Company procedures
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs grade A-C, including English, Mathematics & Science
- LGV Licence Cat C (HGV Class 2)
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and a current digital tachograph driver card desirable
- Previous Tanker / JetVac experience with preferably high-pressure jetting experience
- Knowledge of Goods Vehicle Operator Licensing
- Ability to work flexibly, according to business requirements
