Kenect Recruitment is looking to hire Van Delivery Drivers in Dordon, Tamworth!
Note: This job is for Kenect Recruitment but will take place at a client\’s worksite.
Salary: Between £13.10 – £17.53 per hour – plus holiday pay accrued at a rate of 12.07%

\”Our client\’s distribution network comprises of 18 depots nationwide, enabling them to make over 11,500 daily deliveries of chilled and frozen produce to third party customers\”.
About the role:
From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our client\’s customer\’s need fresh stock – daily, and you could be part of their nationwide team making some of the 3.5 million deliveries each year, keeping Britain fed!
We\’re seeking experienced, customer-facing delivery drivers. You would be expected to work five days per week. With this shift pattern, there will be no Sunday work and a rest day off in the week on rotation.
On-the-job (paid) training is provided, and you will be partnered with another team member to begin with. If you are keen to progress, our client can also offer development opportunities to further your career.
Shift patterns:
* Early morning shifts between Monday and Saturday each week (no Sunday work)
* 5 shifts per week
* Rotating rest day off throughout the week
* 03.30 – 04.30 am start times
The all-important details:
* Between 15-20 drops per shift on average
* Routes planned in at 8-10 hours long
* Overtime premiums are payable after 42 hours worked each week @ time and one quarter
* Must be prepared to self-load vehicles

To be considered eligible for this position, you must meet our requirements below and be available to attend an on-site paid driving assessment and induction prior to starting.
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence for a minimum of 6 months
* Must have experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles (ideally refrigerated but not essential)
* Must be prepared to drive manual vehicles – no automatic vehicles available
* Must be prepared to work early mornings and Saturdays
* Must have no more than 6 penalty points on license for minor offences
* Must have a high-visibility vest and safety boots
* Must be prepared to attend a paid driving assessment and induction prior to starting
