Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy HR and OD team within a fast moving, developing organisation. You will support the provision of an expert, efficient, Customer focused HR service to DSFS. In doing so this post will support the DSFS HR and OD Team to empower line managers in good practice and contribute to DSFS becoming an employer of choice.
You will manage and support all aspects of the management of sickness absence and attendance within DSFS and manage and support informal and formal investigations in line with the DSFS Disciplinary, grievance and capability policies.
The post holder will make significant contribution across the operational HR and OD function by supporting the Assistant Director of HR and OD in playing a key role in shaping the strategic workforce direction of DSFS and support the embedding of DSFS Strategic plan, vision, values, and policies.
Main duties of the job
You will have or be working towards a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management or hold equivalent experience and possess a degree or have equivalent experience in working in HR, supporting line managers in delivering the HR agenda. You will have experience in employee relations policies and processes, to be able to manage absences and case work effectively.
