We are supporting a respected and well-established specialist Civil Engineering contractor in appointing a skilled MEICA Project Manager to lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a key role in managing the procurement, installation, and commissioning of MEICA systems from feasibility through to handover, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices and high safety standards.

MEICA Project Manager Job Overview
- Lead the procurement, installation, and commissioning of MEICA systems for water-related infrastructure projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations
- Support the design development and technical scoping of MEICA works, ensuring effective integration within wider project delivery.
- Oversee MEICA subcontractor and supplier management, including contractual obligations, quality standards, and timely delivery.

- Drive continuous improvement and supply chain performance through KPI analysis and corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure that all MEICA installations meet the \”right first time\” principle through quality inspections and supplier oversight.
MEICA Project Manager Job Requirements
- Proven experience delivering MEICA packages in a contractor or consultancy environment, preferably in the water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 and/or JCT contract forms.
- Sound understanding of HSEQ, project controls, and engineering quality assurance.
- Familiar with construction techniques, environmental constraints, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Process).
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards accreditation (e.g., IET, IMECHE, IChemE).
- CSCS Card (Manager level) / SMSTS (including SEATS module) / Temporary Works Coordinator certification /Appointed Person for lifting operations (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
