As a pivotal member of our team, you\’ll lead and support groundbreaking projects from their inception to successful handover. Collaborate with top-tier Project Controllers and Directors, and benefit from unparalleled development and mentorship opportunities provided by our senior leadership.

Your role will involve close interaction with clients, stakeholders, and a diverse team of experts from various Tetra Tech disciplines. Together, you\’ll craft innovative solutions that make a real difference.

The Role

To support the PMO Manager in overseeing the Programme Management Office (PMO), ensuring the effective delivery of projects and programmes while maintaining high standards of project management practices. This role requires strong analytical skills and familiarity with project management tools advocated by Tetra Tech.

  • Assist the PMO Manager in developing and implementing PMO strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day management of the PMO.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of projects and programmes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in resolving project issues and mitigating risks.
  • Support the establishment and enforcement of governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on project and programme performance.
  • Help manage resource allocation and capacity planning.
  • Assist in managing the PMO budget and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Act as a point of contact for project and programme stakeholders, managing expectations where appropriate
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Conduct project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Provide training and support to project managers and team members on PMO processes and tools.
  • Promote best practices in project management across the organisation.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as APM (Association for Project Management), PRINCE2, or PMP are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in project and programme management, ideally within a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
