A vibrant and welcoming school in Swansea is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing valuable support to pupils within our Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 classes, helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of individual pupils and small groups.
  • Providing assistance during classroom activities, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
  • Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and materials.
  • Providing feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress.
  • Contributing to the overall well-being and safety of the students.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and proactive.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ideally have experience working in a primary school setting (although this is not always essential).
  • A relevant qualification in childcare or education would be advantageous.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: £88.92 per day
Location: Swansea
