What You Will Do

- Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and work instructions
- Assembling and testing products throughout various stages of manufacturing – Air under water and a safety proof test
- Supporting process improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and quality clinics
- Maintaining material traceability and meeting strict quality control standards
- Fabrication and finishing of aluminium and steel products
These components will be expertly welded, rigorously tested, and inspected to meet our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly guidelines to complete tasks with precision
- Assemble and test products at various stages of production – Air under water and a safety proof test
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, Turnbacks, and Clinics)
- Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to rigorous quality control standards
- Pursue ongoing training, including welding certification requirements
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements
Shifts
This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts:
- Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday)
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday)
There may be a possibility of moving to night shifts. Ample notice will be provided if required.

Required Security Clearance
This role may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware. An export license may be required to comply with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications We Prefer
- NVQ Level 3, or a similar vocational qualification in fabrication, Sheet Metal Work, mechanical, or engineering (equivalent experience will also be considered)
- Proficiency with precision tools such as Vernier calipers, digital calipers, or measuring gauges
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work
- Proven ability to meet high tolerance standards e.g to a thousandth of an inch
- Experience in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries is advantageous
