Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our sector leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. We are recruiting for Consultants to join our team. The ETS team provides commercially focused environmental and sustainability due diligence advice to a diverse range of clients in support the real estate transactions, mergers and acquisition across the UK and Europe.
The role provides an opportunity for you to join our well-established environmental due diligence team that are responsible for the management and delivery of a range of fast paced technical projects relating to ground risk, flood risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
We are looking for an experienced environmental consultant with a broad skill set specialising in ground risk and environmental compliance with some knowledge of contaminated land preferred.
How You’ll Contribute
- Support the delivery of environmental due diligence and compliance projects, including multi-site portfolios across the UK and Europe, under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Undertake data collection, and reporting to assess ground risk and environmental compliance, with some awareness of sustainability topics.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical deliverables, and client reports, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet project and client requirements.
- Provide technical input to projects across areas such as contaminated land, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery.
- Support project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking, in coordination with the project lead.
- Build positive relationships with clients through clear communication and responsive support.
- Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to support your continued professional development.
- Demonstrate the behaviours and values of the business in your day-to-day work.
Knowledge and Skills
- Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, Environmental Engineering).
- Some experience in ground risk and/or environmental compliance; familiarity with sustainability is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
