Job Description
You will provide our guests with excellent service: as a friendly voice on the phone, an amicable contact by email or with a welcoming smile at check-in. As part of our Front Office and Reservations team, you will be responsible for:
- Looking after our guests, including check-in and check-out.
- Reviewing and processing bookings, overbookings and options.
- Maintaining Property Management Systems, as well as our electronic bookings systems.
- Producing and verifying invoices, including managing payments
- Cash transactions and cashing up.
- Administrative and organisational tasks (e.g. managing no-shows, answering emails)
Qualifications
Whether you are a hotel professional or changing careers – you will fit in here! Because personality and hosting skills are our priority. You will also:
- Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering/customer service industry or be looking for a change of career.
- Have an excellent sense of quality and service, hosting skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Be open and communicative and have a solid command of (written and spoken) English.
- Be a team player and be willing to assist your colleagues across the hotel – we achieve our results together!
