Respiratory Therapist – Whittier Rehab Hospital – Bradford
Part-Time, 24 hours/week, Evening
Base Pay: $36.00 – $40.00
Differentials offered for evening, night and weekend shifts

Here at Bradford, we are equipped to provide complex medical treatments and procedures to patients who are acutely ill, have multiple complications and those who require specialty care and continuous monitoring, within our 25-bed LTACH unit. We have a Joint Commission Certified Pulmonary Program and excel at vent weaning and decannulating patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a trusted member of the patient care team as the subject matter expert to drive patients to their goals
- Provideindividualized evaluation, documentation, treatment planning implementation, and goal determination under the direction of a physician.
- Performs all modes of respiratory care inclusive of mechanical vent maintenance and weaning, ABG’s, 02 and aerosol therapy, airway maintenance (including trach capping, changes, and decannulations), pulmonary hygiene (CPT, Cough and DB, suction), and maintenance of all respiratory equipment including compressed gas delivery systems and arterial blood gas instrument.
- Dispenses respiratory medication as ordered by physician with awareness to drug effectiveness, side effects and contraindications.
- Applies geriatric and rehabilitation knowledge and skills to patient care.
Prerequisites:
- B.S.or A.S.in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Current licensure by the Division of Registration, Board of Respiratory Care, Commonwealth of MA.
- Certification in BLS for the Healthcare provider.
- Knowledge, experience and competency in dealing with adult rehabilitation and geriatric age group.
