Are you a commercially savvy Quantity Surveyor ready to take ownership of a diverse and dynamic civil framework? Join OCU Group, a leading force in energy transition and utilities contracting, and play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure across the Southeast.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be the commercial lead on a major framework delivering civil works on the electrical network. You’ll work closely with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate quoting, fair claims auditing, and timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual and quarterly quoting programmes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Audit subcontractor claims and foster open, collaborative relationships.
  • Own and manage dispute resolution strategies.
  • Raise and manage invoices and applications through to payment.
  • Support operational teams with commercial insight and contract management.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in civil or building maintenance (fencing, brickwork, roofing preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Confident with work management software and collaborative tools.
  • Skilled in managing contract variations and claims.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (required).
  • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field (required).
  • Working towards or holding RICS/CIOB membership (desired).
