We’re currently recruiting for an ambitious Apprentice Kitchen Porter to help us create exceptional food experiences for Eurest on a full-time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.

As an apprentice Kitchen Porter, you will work in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding culinary experience for our customers. In return, you will have the chance to progress your career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards employees who go beyond the plate.

No prior experience is required to apply, as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship. Upon completion, you will achieve the Level 2 Production Chef qualification and become a qualified Kitchen Porter.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Ensuring the kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
  • Managing the pot-washing area to high standards.
  • Ensuring all dishes are cleaned and washed properly.
  • Supporting chefs by ensuring they have everything they need to prepare dishes.
  • Supporting with loading delivery vans for food deliveries.
  • Preparing and serving high-quality food that delights customers.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player.
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
  • Following Health & Safety regulations.
