Were currently seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to join our Event Sales Team as Events Assistants, supporting meaningful charity campaigns at high-visibility public events across Edinburgh from shopping centres and retail kiosks to branded pop-up stands.
About The Role
As an Events Assistant, youll be the face of leading UK charities, helping to raise awareness and inspire long-term support through engaging, face-to-face conversations with the public.
This role offers a unique blend of purpose, teamwork, and varietyperfect for those who thrive in dynamic, people-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the setup and presentation of branded event stands, ensuring a professional and inviting appearance at all times
- Engage with members of the public in retail and high-footfall areas to promote charitable causes in a warm and approachable way
- Share clear, accurate information about charity programmes and the impact of public support
- Build positive rapport with individuals and guide them through an ethical, secure sign-up process for ongoing support
- Work closely with your team to achieve shared goals while maintaining a positive and respectful event environment
- Provide feedback from each event to help refine campaign messaging and public engagement strategies
- Adapt to various event locations and schedules with resilience, flexibility, and a can-do attitude
