Cover Supervisor – Birchwood Community High School
The role
Birchwood Community High School is a thriving school at the heart of community life and continues to grow and flourish. We have an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside a small team providing cover for absent teachers, giving instruction/teaching the set work provided by the absent teacher, and ensure students are on task and show a positive attitude for learning. This is a fixed term contract until31 August 2026 in the first instance, working32.5 hours per week, Term Time only, plus 5 INSET days.

- Has experience working with young people aged 11–16 in an educational setting.
- Is confident, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Is committed to raising aspirations and supporting the progress of all learners.
