The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Nine years later, and the team continues to demonstrate growth and a clear direction with its future objectives – coming off the back of its second-best season to-date in Formula 1.

General Summary:
This position reports to the Model Maker Team Leader or their delegate and is based in Castelnuovo Rangone or a nearby location (Province of Modena, Italy). The role primarily involves supporting activities related to the logistic of materials for wind tunnel testing, the preparation of components, and the routine and extraordinary maintenance of equipment and the model of a Formula 1.
Key Responsibilities:
· Promote teamwork and effective communication to foster working relationships across all staff and departments.
· Transport materials to support the preparation of components and/or wind tunnel tests using company vehicles.
· Collaborate with the model makers team and the Logistic Coordinator to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
· Work with the Logistic Coordinator to carry out Haas Aero logistical activities between factory facilities, suppliers, and the wind tunnel.
· Availability to occasionally perform rotating weekend shifts.
· Perform routine inspections and checks of mechanical assemblies or individual components.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including vehicles and tools.
· Willingness to participate in wind tunnel testing on a rotational basis during weekends.
· In some cases, the use of a personal vehicle may be required, particularly for business trips or transportation tasks, with mileage reimbursement provided.
· Provide support in resolving mechanical, electronic, and logistical issues.
· Assist the model shop with operations necessary to inspect and prepare the model for wind tunnel testing.
· Take part in the preparation of parts to be tested in the wind tunnel.
· Comply with all safety regulations in all working environments.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Model Maker Team Leader or their delegate.
Education and Work Experience:
A high school diploma with a technical focus or equivalent is required. Category B driving license required. Some prior experience as a driver, workshop mechanic, and/or wind tunnel model maker is preferred.

Work Environment Physical Demands:
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require some, occasional domestic, international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
