We\’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Estimator to join our growing team at Octavius. Based out of our Binley office (with the flexibility of hybrid working – typically 2 to 3 days in the office and the rest from home), this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company that\’s shaping the future of UK infrastructure. You\’ll be working on… (what your role and responsibility is)

Supporting the preparation of robust and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You\’ll work closely with Bid Managers and Senior Estimators to evaluate tender documentation, identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to the development of winning solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to price works from first principles and gain hands-on experience in pre-construction activities.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a good grasp of Excel and a willingness to learn estimating software.
