We are looking for a customer focused Assistant Commercial Manager with bid/tendering experience to join our commercial team to meet our internal and external customers\’ demands. The Role: Support the Commercial Manager with the managing and co-ordination of the bid data/team to ensure timely processing of tenders. Develop an in-depth knowledge of Wrightbus core products and processes. Co-ordinate weekly reports Draft client proposal packs incorporating where applicable specification, quotation, letters, and presentations, this may involve engaging with customers directly on various issues both verbally and in writing. Assisting with resolution of queries from suppliers and internal team to support bid activity. Interpret customer specs and create specification requirements onto Wrightbus database. Identify supplementary options and associated costings. Using online tender portals ensuring that information is collated and uploaded both grammatically and commercially accurate. Calculate manufacturing costs of vehicle using the most recent information available (May entail engaging with suppliers for prices) Interpret customers contractual requirements and compile a report detailing the compliance/non-compliance in line with the Company\’s T\’s & C\’s Delivery schedules, contractual issues, drawings etc Draft customer specific deal sheets for senior executives to sign off Liaise with departmental personal within the business ensuring timescales contained in schedules are achieved Ensure that accurate and clear records are kept and are up to date on historical pricing for each customer to allow final prices to be agreed and justified. Communicate with customers on various issues both verbally and in writing Update customer files and general office filing Support in drafting business reports if/when required Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post. The Requirements: A Minimum of an HND/NVQ L5 in business related subject or equivalent. OR 3 years\’ experience in a similar role. 3 years\’ experience of quotation/tender preparation, commercial experience and preparation of technical customer specifications. Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
