This is an excellent opportunity to earn up to £32,085 in a facilities maintenance engineer position, joining a major UK food production business supplying well-known supermarket and restaurant brands. With operations spanning from farming to factory, this role plays a vital part in keeping site operations running smoothly.
Facilities Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external building fabric maintenance
- Conduct audits and repairs of restrooms, kitchens, and office spaces
- Plan and prioritise day-to-day repair tasks
- Diagnose recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain external site areas and grounds to a high standard
- Collaborate with production, health & safety, and engineering teams
- Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Previous Facilities Experience
- Hands-on experience in general repairs and maintenance
- Basic plumbing, cladding, and carpentry skills
- Painting and decorating experience
- Floor, wall, and road repair knowledge
