About the role

As the Land and Wayleave Officer your manager will be our Commercial Management Surveyor. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly at our Head Office in Castleford.

As the Land and Wayleave Officer, you will have the opportunity to build on your current role and provide experiences to be proud of, an impact to be proud of and create places to be proud of. It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:

  • Work with some of the UK’s largest broadband infrastructure organisations to help provide our customers with a choice of internet providers
  • Be a key player in establishing a comprehensive land and wayleave register
  • Assist with the continuing refurbishment, security and Energy Performance work to our commercial shops

What you’ll do

Working as part of a team in the management and provision of a comprehensive, effective, and efficient professional Commercial Property and Land service, adhering to and understanding new and existing legislative and/or regulatory requirements, with specific responsibility for management of the commercial estate, land encroachments, wayleaves, enquiries, allotments and land disposals.
