There\’s already a well-established kitchen team looking for an exceptional leader to grow and develop the business further.
An ideal applicant needs extensive experience in developing recipes, menus, and building a positive team environment.
The Libertine is a busy high street pub that champions the best of British ingredients. Our menu features pub classics and urban dishes that make us stand out from competitors. Sunday roasts are a key part of our offering, especially during our strong autumn/winter trade, with Christmas being our busiest time.

What we look for in a Head Chef:
This role requires someone who can inspire and lead a team, develop, cost, and produce seasonal menus for various revenue streams.
- Experience championing excellent service through quality food, as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
- A passion for leading and developing a team
- Hands-on team player with excellent communication skills
- Responsible for managing kitchen staff rota, training, and health & safety
- Creative ability to design and deliver new dishes and specials
- Strong planning and organizational skills for effective control of GP and labour
- Proactive in driving sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams
