As our business looks todeliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a BusinessEngagement Lead for Finance to join our Global IT Team to partner withthe Global Finance function, build strategic business engagement, trulyunderstand the aims, objectives and desired outcomes, and translate theseobjectives into technology and digital solutions working closely with the ITdelivery teams.

You will be responsible foridentifying the business needs, ensuring that the solution addresses thebusiness needs and is accepted by the business teams. They will be able toinfluence their peers in the relevant function for business process relatedchanges and will have strong stakeholder management skills with ability toefficiently communicate at peer and senior levels.

  • Degree qualified preferably in a Finance related field or a Computer Sciences degree
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes and data flows supporting these processes
  • In-depth finance process knowledge coupled with a good understanding of technology solutions supporting Finance processes
  • Significant experience in ERP transformation projects and programmes
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations incl. taxing and UK Corporate Reform regulations
  • Accreditation in Finance related area is desirable e.g. CMA
  • Essential skills in include teamwork, planning (1-3 yr horizon) and excellent communication skills
  • Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills are required

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • As a key member of the Global IT Applications Team partner with the Global and Regional Finance Teams to understand their needs
  • Identify business improvements by translating the business requirements into technology and digital solutions
  • Working closely with the functional delivery teams (internal and external) design viable technology solutions
  • Recommend business process changes working collaboratively with the Finance Teams
  • Support the delivery of the technology solutions by solving design and/or business process problems
  • Building strategic business engagement, advocate for business transformation and drive change
  • Assist the business through their change journey by supporting different aspects of the delivery process incl. training, data collection and cleansing
  • Collaborating with the business stakeholders and technology teams
