Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced SEN professional with a strong background in statutory SEND processes within a local authority setting?

We’re supporting a London Borough in the search for an SEN Coordinator to join their team on a full-time interim basis, working on a hybrid model (1-2 days per week onsite in North London, remainder remote).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive service to enable the LA to meet its statutory responsibilities regarding the assessment and review of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Oversee the efficient implementation of statutory SEN procedures, ensuring appropriate placement and provision for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Liaise with schools, professionals, and other local authorities to coordinate placements for Enfield-resident pupils both within borough and out-of-borough (where Enfield retains responsibility).
  • Ensure statutory deadlines and processes are met with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Local Authority SEN Team.
  • Strong working knowledge of EHCP processes, SEND Code of Practice, and related statutory frameworks.
  • Confidence working across cross-borough placements, managing complex cases where the placing school is in another LA but statutory responsibility remains with the home borough.
