Small Animal Head Vet – Charter Veterinary Hospital

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven, people-focused vet to step into a Head Veterinary Surgeon position across our three established clinics in the North Devon area. This is an ideal role for someone who has a genuine desire for mentoring and leadership and still wants to stay hands-on with clinical work they\’re passionate about.
Would you like to join a skilled team of veterinary surgeons with a large variety of certificate holders including dentistry, surgery, medicine, AVP holders, and an amazingly supportive nursing team?
As well as enjoying our modern facilities, we are extremely well equipped with CT scanner, dental x-ray, endoscopy, diathermy, digital x-ray, ultrasound. We have a varied caseload and the team thoroughly enjoy sharing knowledge. The main hospital also houses our OOH facility that is staffed with a full-time vet and 2 RVNs.
This position will also entail being the clinical point of contact for the MiNight team, including completing quarterly team meetings and regular 1-2-1s.
We have 3 sites in Barnstaple, Pilton, and Mullacott, and the role will involve working at all sites as required.

- 1 in 6 Saturdays
