Croydon Amphibians Swimming Club, based in South Croydon, is seeking a motivated, inspiring, and passionate, suitably-qualified Swimming Coach to lead our talented County Squad (ages 10–12) into the new season and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and ambitious club with a strong community spirit and a focus on long-term swimmer development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality sessions for a designated squad.
  • Motivate and mentor swimmers to achieve their full potential.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to develop stroke technique and performance.
  • Monitor progress and adapt plans to suit age and ability.
  • Support swimmers at competitions.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with swimmers, parents, coaches, and the committee.
  • Work closely with the Head Coach on long-term squad development plans.
  • Be flexible to support other squads when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Swim England Swimming Coach ing Certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Award (or equivalent)
  • A proven track record of coaching success at county level or similar
  • Excellent communication, motivational and mentoring skills
  • A positive, professional, and proactive approach
  • A UK driving licence and access to transport
  • Local to Croydon or nearby
  • Availability to work approximately8 hours per week (evenings, Monday–Saturday) plus occasional cover and meet support
