Class 1 HGV : ADR Tanker Driver (Full Time, Permanent)
Location: Grays, Essex
Working hours based on 6am starts, Monday–Friday, up to 4 nights out per week. 4pm–4am night shifts available on request.
Salary: £58,760 per annum (based on 60 hours per week). Pay is weekly on Friday.

Role
- Pair with driver trainer to learn safe loading and delivery of chemicals with trailers, following paperwork and procedures.
- Receive PPE for training.
- Work varies each week; return to Grays depot to start and finish the week.
- All hours paid as per tachograph, including breaks.
- Jobs allocated via transport team; essential communication of delays or issues.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Keen, efficient, sound safe working practices.
- Valid C+E licence.
- At least one year experience on Class 1 work.
- Valid digital tachograph.Up-to-date CPC Card.
- ADR licence; classes 1 and 7 in tanks.
- Previous tanker experience is an advantage.
