We are currently looking for a Product Specialist for Atomic Spectroscopy to join our Technical Coverage & Solution Team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our activity of the Agilent\’s Atomic spectroscopy portfolio (including AA, MP-AES, ICP-OES, ICPMS and QQQ) and providing in-depth knowledge and support across the EMEA region. You will work in close collaboration with our sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to drive customer success and ensure the effective positioning of our solutions.
Your key responsibilities will also include:
• Driving and developing the Atomic Spectroscopy business within your assigned territory (UK and Ireland)
• Providing technical support to account managers, with a strong focus on pre-sales demonstration activities.
• Assisting sales teams in achieving or exceeding their quotas by offering scientific and application expertise in workflows and technical support.
• Supporting the execution of the EMEA marketing plan through presentations, conference participation, and other tactical initiatives.
• Contributing to sales and marketing activity planning within your region.
• Participating in the sales process from opportunity qualification to technical deal closure.
• Supporting the sales organization in meeting business targets.
• Benchmarking competitors and identifying Agilent\’s unique value propositions and lockout specifications.
• Analyzing customer requirements and recommending tailored solutions.
• Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement effective technical sales strategies.
• Evaluating and advising on go-to-market strategies for new product introductions.
• Delivering training to the sales force to enhance product and application knowledge.
• Acting as the voice of the customer to influence future product and application development.
• Preparing and delivering technical seminars to customers and prospects and contributing to scientific forums.
• Maintaining and expanding domain expertise, including scientific advancements, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning.
• Interacting with Agilent\’s Atomic Spectroscopy R&D teams in Japan and Melbourne to address current technologies and ensure EMEA requirements are reflected in future developments.
Qualifications
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
- A university degree in a chemistry-related field (e.g., Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or similar).
- Solid knowledge and practical experience with atomic spectroscopy techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a pre-sales/product specialist OR as an end-user of atomic spectroscopy instruments.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Prior experience with Agilent products is a strong advantage.
On a personal level, you are customer focused and proactive. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. You also have great communication skills to interact with many internal and external partners. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you have also strong planning, organizational and time management skills.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
