At Care South, a leading not for profit social care organisation, you will have the chance to work in partnership with the NHS, and be part of our exciting plans to grow and diversify the service.
For this role a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential.
This exciting Care Supervisor role will involve working 4 days per week Monday to Friday and alternate weekends, totalling 10 working days over a 2 week period.

Key duties
- To support and supervise our Home Care Assistants
- To assess client needs and write Care Plans
- To undertake Care Plan and Quality Reviews
- Oversee the professional development of new and existing staff
- To work with the wider team to ensure continuity of approach, maintaining clear communication
- To cover care calls when they are not allocated
- Through a rota system with the supervisory team you will ensure that on-call cover is maintained out-of-hours (7.00am – 9.00am, 5.00pm – 10.30pm plus weekends and bank holidays) and an additional payment will be received
About our Care Supervisors
- Holder of an NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Strong IT skills, ability to multitask and work to internal objectives
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Holder of an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one
