The Opportunity
We seek an experienced Business Central Functional Consultant who is proficient with the platform, enjoys client engagement, influences decision-makers, and presents compelling solutions. This hybrid role in the UK offers flexibility to work from home, our Birmingham HQ, or on client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional Delivery: Lead discovery sessions, translate business processes into BC solutions, configure and deliver end-to-end solutions, support testing, training, and adoption.
- Client Engagement: Present solutions, demos, work with sales teams on proposals, build relationships with stakeholders.
- Commercial Support: Qualify and close opportunities, scope projects, contribute to bids and estimates, identify upselling opportunities.
- Team Contribution: Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, mentor junior staff, contribute to best practices.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years’ experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV
- Proven client-facing delivery experience
- Strong functional knowledge in finance, supply chain, or services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in pre-sales or solution selling
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities
- Connections with Microsoft UK, Corp, or others
Desirable:
- Experience with Power Platform or Microsoft 365 integration
- Familiarity with public sector/nonprofit models
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-800)
- Knowledge of business development cycles and CRM tools
- Understanding of AI integration with BC via configuration or extension
- Active involvement in the Microsoft community
