Homeless Support Worker Rochdale 37.5 hours pw Temporary – Permanent £17 Umbrella ph Our client, a social housing provider in Rochdale is recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to work with those facing homelessness. There is scope for the role to become permanent, and great career progression opportunities in the new future to become a Team Leader. Responsibilities of the Homeless Support Worker include: Managing a caseload of homeless clients Liaising with Local Authorities housing teams surrounding new applications Supporting in the maintenance of the client waiting list Assessing new clients support needs Ensuring clients understand, and abide by their tenancy agreements Enabling clients to access employment, education and training opportunities Safeguarding clients and reporting any concerns Monitoring tenants rent accounts and supporting them to maximise their income Promoting clients to live independently and build lasting life skills Essential criteria of the Homeless Support Worker include: Enhanced DBS Experience within a similar supported living environment …
