About Us:
Certas Energy is one of the UK’s leading fuel and convenience store retailers, providing excellent customer service and high-quality products across our service stations.
We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to support the daily operations of our convenience store/service station, ensuring a seamless customer experience and an efficient, motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily running of the convenience store and fuel station, ensuring high operational standards.

Lead, motivate, and support a team of retail assistants, ensuring excellent customer service.

Drive sales performance and meet targets through effective merchandising and stock management.

Ensure compliance with health & safety, security, and company policies.

Conduct cash handling, banking procedures, and till operations with accuracy.

Manage staff rotas, shifts, and training, ensuring adequate cover at all times.

Assist with stock control, deliveries, and replenishment to maintain availability of key products.

Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store to enhance the customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.

Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and positive approach.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of cash handling and stock management procedures.
