Company and Position Overview
Finning (UK) Ltd – the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to sell Caterpillar machinery, attachments and service packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively make outbound calls to convert leads into sales of new and used machinery, attachments and service packages.
- Host customers at our regional branch, providing walk‑arounds, finalising deals and ensuring a seamless collection experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records and machine population data to support marketing initiatives and repeat business.
- Actively promote marketing campaigns, events and promotions to drive sales.
- Collaborate closely with the regional field‑sales team and Cat Financial Services to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities, meeting target revenue and appointment goals.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proactive outbound B2B sales skills and professional telephone manner.
- Experience in machinery sales desirable (Plant, Agriculture, or Automotive).
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
- Self‑motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
