Start a new and exciting role as a Health & Social Care Teacher at a well-resourced and highly supportive Secondary School in Leicester. Starting ASAP, you will be joining an experienced and well skilled Social Science Department.

Role

Health & Social Care Teacher delivering Health & Social Care throughout Key Stage 4 so this role suits a teacher looking to teach GCSE & BTech classes. Long-Term Supply Position. Key Stage 4 (KS4). Temporary (two-terms minimum).

Our client is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area. The school has superb facilities and views itself as an innovative teaching and learning community.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS).
  • Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) who have had qualifications verified by UK NARIC will be considered.
  • Ability to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to maintain high standards of achievement.
  • Ability to contribute positively to an ambitious and progressive department.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Health & Social Care to Key Stage 4 (GCSE & BTech) classes.
  • Work within a supportive Social Science department with excellent facilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and student achievement.
