Validation Scientist – (Job Ref: 25N/DMVS)

We require a highly motivated and dedicated individual to work within our busy Formulation Department as a Validation Scientist. Based in the Randox Science Park in Antrim, the Validation Scientist will be working in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility.

The Role:

  1. Review and plan validation for proposed processes – new, developed, or existing related to facilities, utilities, equipment, and cleaning.
  2. Be responsible for the statistical justification of sampling plans for validation projects.
  3. Collect data involving processes such as mixing, cleaning, dispensing, lyophilization, sterilization, capping, labelling, and other testing methods.
  4. Write reports to gather, evaluate, and conclude results.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all validation testing is performed as planned.
  6. Please note that this job description is a guideline; additional duties may be incorporated as the role evolves.

The Candidate:

Essential:

  • Qualified to at least degree level, with a minimum of a 2:1 in a life science discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience with process validation.
  • Experience with statistical sampling plans.
  • Experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments.
  • Full UK driving license.
