Kingston Maurward College is offering an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to inspire and teach the next generation of students pursuing careers in Public Services and the Outdoor Sector. Working closely with the Head of Department and team members, you will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to a diverse group of full-time learners enrolled in our Public Services and Outdoor Adventure programmes.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers or qualified instructors from related fields who bring creativity and confidence to designing engaging lessons. Experience in further education is desirable, as are qualifications in fitness or outdoor adventure. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, inspirational, and highly motivated, with the personal and professional qualities needed to support students in their academic journey.

Strong communication, organisational, and digital skills are essential. A degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. While a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, we offer excellent training and support for those looking to gain one. You can achieve your Level 3 Award in Education & Training within your first year, with the opportunity to progress to the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.

Status: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday with Flexibility to meet business needs.
