About the Role

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Legal Advice Team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize their workload. No prior hands-on legal experience is necessary, making it a great opportunity to start your legal career.

Responsibilities

  1. Offer general legal advice to members of trade unions or organizations (excluding all legal areas).
  2. Handle a dynamic, fast-paced workload involving telephone communication, including both incoming and outgoing calls.
  3. Manage your workload confidently while conducting research between calls.
  4. Carry out legal research and follow up with clients as needed.
  5. Achieve multiple KPIs, such as telephony metrics (service levels, abandonment rates), call quality, advisory quality, and conversion rates.
  6. Refer members to S&G services for conversion where applicable.

About You

  • Legal Practice Course (LPC) or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and under pressure.
  • Confident in working with stakeholders at all levels.
