The L&D Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development and delivery of learning and development initiatives across Sisk UK. This role ensures that employees at all levels have access to the skills, knowledge, and qualifications necessary to meet compliance standards, enhance performance, and support career progression while future-proofing the workforce’s capabilities of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions, continuing education, and CPD activities across various training streams, including H&S, personal effectiveness, management development, and functional upskilling programs.
- Support the Learning & Development Manager with learning-related activities, professional memberships, chartership support, and creating development plans based on employees’ objectives.
- Manage the L&D Inbox, responding to queries promptly.
- Administer operations and logistics of training courses, programs, and events, including inclusion topics.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc learning reports for meetings, tenders, and analysis.
- Collaborate on Sisk’s Leadership and Management development program and liaise with employees and suppliers.
- Administer funding claims, such as CITB levy.
- Evaluate training effectiveness via feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Communicate L&D offerings and leverage LMS functionality for employee engagement.
- Maintain previous experience in L&D or training coordination, preferably within construction or related industries.
- Understand construction site operations and health & safety standards.
- Exhibit excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
- Knowledge of training frameworks and CITB funding is desirable.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
- Possess relevant qualifications in L&D, HR, or training (e.g., CIPD Level 3+).
