Job Description

  • Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide helpful information.
  • Attend to all incoming calls professionally and politely, striving to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Control guest and hotel accounts, ensuring charges are accurate and posted promptly.
  • Handle credit and cash transactions securely, issue room keys, and maintain guest confidentiality/privacy.
  • Communicate effectively between hotel guests and all hotel departments, both verbally and in writing.
  • Operate the switchboard efficiently, handle calls promptly, greet callers according to Accor policy, and transfer calls to relevant departments.
  • Accurately document all internal and guest messages and distribute them as per hotel procedures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date internal phone list for accurate call transfers. Connect international and operator-assisted calls, recording charges accurately.
  • Assist in screening calls for reservations and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Promote hotel facilities and maximize sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
