Job Title: Service Charge Officer
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
Salary: £25,000 – £31,000 (Pro rata)
Contract: 9-month Maternity Cover

Join a dynamic housing provider as a Service Charge Officer, supporting the accurate management of service charge accounts across multiple schemes. You will play a pivotal role in the year-end accounts process, rent reviews, and monthly transactional monitoring, helping to deliver financial transparency and efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing

Processing detailed service charge transactions, ensuring correct coding and posting

Preparing and issuing accurate service charge estimates and actuals

Completing reconciliations between housing management and finance systems

Handling a high volume of internal service charge queries

Assisting with the preparation of seller’s packs and related documentation

Contributing to process improvements and system updates

Collaborating with finance and housing teams to ensure accurate financial data
