CONTRACT SPECIALIST
Our client, a Major Oil and Gas Operator, is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist with an IT Contracts background. This is a 12 Month PAYE contract role, working in the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week remotely. They are seeking a skilled Contracting & Procurement (C&P) professional to support the Corporate Services category, with a particular focus on IT, HR, HSE, and Real Estate contracts.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across Infrastructure Technology (IT), HR, HSE, and Real Estate categories.
- Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure optimal value and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business continuity.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with corporate governance and risk management frameworks.
- Develop commercially competitive contracting & procurement strategies with evolving business needs for assigned key spend categories which meets the Business Demand while taking into account potential implementation of Global Strategies at local/regional level.
- Conduct tenders, evaluate bids & drive negotiations with Suppliers in accordance with the CMCP as an overall \βguidance\β.
- Ensure delivery & effectively manage contracts while continuously drive value improvement targets.
- Identify, develop & implement supply chain improvement opportunities.

- Good understanding of strategic, technical, legal, finance, taxation and commercial issues.
