Pay: £900 – £1100 (+ £50 living allowance/expense) per week.
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire (we\’re especially open to people who live locally, as our clients are also in Shrewsbury)

Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry are looking for Live in Care Professionals who are passionate about caring for people in their community. Importantly, in this very specialised, but highly rewarding role, you will enable our clients to continue living in their own homes, as an alternative to a residential care home.
Your Roles & Responsibilities as a Live in Care Professional:
As a Live in Care Professional, you will be living with one of our clients for *2 weeks* at a time, you may even be supporting a couple in their home – and you’ll be there to provide excellent care for extended periods of time. You are there to be a companion and to assist your client day to day, but also to help them remain independent in their own home
Responsibilities may include;
- Assisting with administration of medication
- Manual handling, using equipment where required,
- Promoting health and well-being with clients, enabling them to live their life to their full potential
- Household tasks & cleaning
- Providing personal care
- Meal preparation
- Shopping
- Assisting taking clients to social events
- Offering our clients companionship
Your Experience and Suitability for the Live in Care Professional Role:
Previous experience in Live In Care is required for this position. You will be introduced to your client over a period of time to acclimatise and to get to know one another. Live in care is a big commitment, and different to other types of employment, in that you would be spending 2 weeks at a time with a client, with the same amount of time off.
Our Live in Care Professionals benefit from:

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The role requires contact with vulnerable clients and will be subject to enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory references.
