Employer Services Consultant

As Employer Services Consultant, you will engage with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and co-design a routeway to employment for participants across a range of programmes delivered by Twin.
The role will leverage strong relationships to promote inclusive employment practices, such as Disability Confident, work trials and working interviews, with a primary focus on meeting employer expectations.
You will be supporting individuals who have been long-term unemployed, with possible health barriers. You will provide motivational support to build positive relationships, guide, inspire, challenge, encourage and help individuals obtain sustainable employment.
You will manage employer accounts, identifying new and existing opportunities, take responsibility for generating new business leads with potential employers through a range of approaches including telephone contact, face-to-face meetings, delivering presentations, and setting up online campaigns, working with the group’s marketing and communications team using multiple channels, including social media.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national employers across various sectors.
- Identify and generate sustainable job opportunities for programme participants.
- Promote the benefits of the Restart Programme to employers, highlighting the support available for recruitment and onboarding.
- Match suitable candidates to job vacancies, supporting both the employer and the participant throughout the recruitment process.
- Work closely with Employment Advisors to understand participants’ skills, aspirations, and barriers to work.
- Organise and attend employer engagement events, job fairs, and sector-based work academies.
- Maintain accurate records using internal CRM systems and ensure all compliance and contractual obligations are met.
- Monitor job outcomes and provide aftercare to employers and participants to support job retention.
- Stay up to date with local labour market trends and employer needs
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in employer engagement, business development, recruitment, or a related field. With strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Target-driven with the ability to work under pressure to meet individual and team KPIs.
- Good understanding of employment support programmes and barriers to employment.
- Proficient in using IT systems including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to supporting others to succeed.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the Restart Programme or similar employability contracts. (D)
