We are seeking an ePMO Governance Manager to join this new team as part of our growth and innovation journey.
Role Overview
The ePMO Governance Manager at Carnival UK is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and evolving programme and project management standards and governance frameworks that support delivery excellence across the organisation’s change portfolio. This role ensures all change initiatives are governed according to best practices, providing assurance, oversight, and support to project teams and senior stakeholders. The Governance Manager plays a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
Key accountabilities include:
- Set and maintain programme and project governance frameworks aligned with professional and global standards.
- Act as subject matter expert for ePMO governance, advising stakeholders and project teams on best practices and compliance.
- Support capability development through training and upskilling initiatives for project and programme managers.
- Lead governance reviews, including health checks and post-implementation reviews, to identify lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with functional teams and portfolio leads to ensure standards are met and frameworks are evolved.
What You\’ll Bring
We seek candidates with:
- Experience in an ePMO or PMO within a matrix organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of governance frameworks and delivery methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
- Ability to drive adoption of new frameworks and ways of working.
- Qualifications such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Portfolio, Programme and Project Management certifications are desirable.
