KICK is looking for a Content Creator and Storyteller
This role will bring to life the transformational impact of KICK through compelling storytelling, high-quality content, and creative communication — showcasing how sport, support and faith are making a difference to the lives of young people throughout the UK.
It will help amplify our voice, engage supporters, inspire partners, and evidence impact with words and images, using social media, print media and campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proven track record in media relations, and the ability to manage a variety of channels and platforms effectively to reach a variety of stakeholders and consumers. It will be important to understand the importance of project management through liaising with photographers and a graphics designer.
The candidate will be passionate about the mission of KICK and innovative about promoting the work of KICK.

Job description
Storytelling and Impact
1. Collate and produce stories and of how young people, schools and communities are impacted by KICK, which support the dissemination of the charity’s mission, vision and key messages.
2. Proactively engage with staff and stakeholders to identify and gather these stories.
3. Craft narratives that tell the story of young people’s personal, social, and faith development through their engagement with KICK.
Content Creation
1. Design and produce creative content, assets and materials; for social media, e-newsletters, website, and print (e.g., photos, videos, graphics).
2. Manage or KICK social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedInand X), scheduling and publishing content, applicable to the primary audiences of each channel.
3. Track and report KPIs that enable the reach and effectiveness of digital media and communications to be evaluated and improved.
4. Contribute to realigning and updating the KICK website as an innovative and audience segmented tool for supporting the growth of KICK by attracting potential new funders, donors, contractors and customers.
5. Ensure that all online and print media content reflects KICK’s tone of voice, ACEII values, Christian ethos and safeguarding standards.
Communications Support
1. Help translate outcomes and impact findings into accessible, human-centred stories.
2. Liaise with photographers, videographersand graphicdesigners to procure additional support with content creation that enhances and promotes the KICK brand.
3. Lead on overseeing the design of other ad hoc forms of external communications that arise,including an annual Impact Report.
4. Engage in other PR related administrative tasks as required, as is commensurate with the purpose of the role.
