City of Glasgow College require a Technician Instructor to operate and maintain mechanical machine tool equipment. Candidates should have an HNC or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. Experience of welding techniques is desirable.

As an Engineering Technician Instructor, you will provide maintenance and operation of manual lathes, mills, and other mechanical workshop machinery. You should have served a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and be qualified to HNC level or Higher (or equivalent qualification). You must have machining and machine maintenance knowledge on conventional workshop/toolroom machinery. Experience of modern welding techniques would be advantageous.

Based at the Riverside Campus this role will form part of the Nautical and STEM Innovation team.
