Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in an interesting group of privately owned organisation? This is your opportunity to join a growing and ambitious organisation based in Blackpool, where your expertise will directly support strategic decision-making at the highest level.
My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to take ownership of financial reporting and performance analysis across the group. You\’ll be working closely with the Managing Director and take a hands-on role in shaping financial processes and supporting business growth.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Preparation of management accounts and reporting packs
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Cash flow management and financial planning
- The generation and submission of the VAT return and responsible for all HMRC dealings
- Monitoring key financial KPIs and presenting insights to the MD
- Supervising and supporting one finance team member
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and stakeholders
- Driving efficiencies and improvements in systems and processes
What We\’re Looking For:
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience
- Solid experience in a management accounts role
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software
- A hands-on, commercial approach with excellent communication skills
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
