The Role: Building Surveyor / Senior Building surveyor

Due to a sustained increase in workload, we are looking for a Building Surveyor/ Senior Building surveyor to join our Cardiff team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading on project-based work, including the design, project management, and contract administration of refurbishment projects.
  • Managing projects ranging in value from £0-2m under NEC and JCT contracts
  • Delivering a mix of professional services (condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and planned preventative maintenance schedules).
  • Working across a variety of sectors, including Higher Education, Student Living, Healthcare, Education, Defence, Custodial, and Public Sector projects
  • Working independently with limited supervision, while collaborating with the wider team as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years post-qualification experience (ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership).
  • Strong project experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel (knowledge of Microsoft Project and Revit is desirable)
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic, and timely surveying services
