Commercial Legal Assistant
Our client, a well-respected law firm specialising in a wide range of legal services, is known for its commitment to delivering exceptional client care and expertise. In this role, you will be supporting a solicitor who focuses on both residential property and commercial contracts, providing crucial assistance to ensure smooth and efficient case management. They are seeking a motivated and professional part-time Commercial Legal Assistant to join their friendly Commercial team in Seaford.
This part-time role (29 hours over 4 days, with flexibility on which days you work) is perfect for someone balancing work and life commitments or currently studying law who wants valuable legal experience while maintaining flexibility.
About The Role
The successful Commercial Legal Assistant will provide essential support to the practitioners, assisting with a variety of commercial legal matters alongside residential property work. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients face-to-face and by phone in a professional and approachable manner
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments and meetings for the team
- Preparing and typing correspondence and legal documents, including audio-typing
- File management and document preparation
- Handling mail and ensuring smooth communication flow
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of client information
- Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative environment
