As a People Co-Ordinator, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our People Team. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that we deliver a seamless and positive employee experience. In this position, you will be responsible for managing a variety of key administrative tasks that span the entire employee lifecycle. This includes everything from onboarding new hires to facilitating ongoing employee engagement, all while maintaining accurate records and supporting our team with various HR initiatives. By effectively handling these tasks, you will help foster a workplace culture where employees feel valued and supported at every stage of their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Administration: coordinate and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes to employment, and off-boarding processes through the People Services inbox. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, reference requests, and other HR documentation. Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and personal files in compliance with data protection regulations.
- HRIS and Systems Support: Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the HRIS. Generate standard and ad hoc reports for internal use and compliance reporting. Support the implementation and ongoing optimisation of HR systems and tools.
- Employee Support: Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing timely and accurate information or escalating where necessary. Support employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, and internal communications.
- Recruitment Support: Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications. Assist with onboarding processes including background checks, induction planning, and new hire paperwork.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate transfer of employee data. Support the administration of employee benefits, absence tracking, and statutory leave (e.g. maternity, paternity, sick leave).
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all HR processes and records comply with company policies and employment legislation. Assist with audits and reporting related to compliance, diversity, and workforce metrics.
- Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Working knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience working with HR software or systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
